Cathleen Faubert Biography

Cathleen Faubert received her BFA from the University of Rhode Island and her MFA from The School of The Museum of Art, Boston/Tuffs University. Faubert received the 2007 Boit Award while studying at The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and a 2008 Distinction in Artistic Teaching Award at Harvard University. Faubert has been in several exhibitions in Boston and New York including: Dangerous Women, DFN Gallery, Chelsea, NY; Nascent, New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University, Boston, MA; Islands of Isolation, Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, MA and More Power Over My Fantasies, Aidekman Arts Center, Tufts University, Somerville, MA. Recently, her work was part of the Smoke and Mirrors exhibition at the University of Oklahoma’s Lightwell Gallery. Faubert currently lives and works in Norman, Oklahoma.
