New Year Exhibition

2 Enero - 28 Febrero 2026
This group of artists represents a wide range of contemporary practices rooted in cultural identity, material exploration, and the universal human experience. Rene Alvarado’s vibrant, expressive work draws deeply from Mexican culture and symbolism, transforming regional narratives into reflections on shared human strength and spirituality. Gayle Singer, a distinguished ceramic artist and educator, brings decades of technical mastery and exhibition history to her studio practice, with work held in major museum collections nationwide. Rea Baldridge’s practice is shaped by impermanence, memory, and resilience; moving between conceptual approaches and painting, her layered, ironic works challenge traditional boundaries of the medium. Michele Mikesell’s paintings merge human and animal forms to explore instinct, contradiction, and emotional complexity, using labor-intensive surface techniques to balance tension and harmony. Together, these artists engage humor, history, and materiality to examine identity, transformation, and connection across cultures and experiences.
