PRESS RELEASE: PIECES FROM THE STUDIO, Jun  1 - Aug 31, 2020

Oklahoma City - JRB Art at The Elms presents selected works of artist Paul Moore during the month of June 2020.  

Paul Moore is a 5th generation Oklahoman and a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. Throughout the years, he has sculpted more than 154 commissions for numerous municipal, corporate, private and international collections. Moore is a member of the prestigious Cowboy Artists of America (CAA) and a Fellow of the National Sculpture Society in New York, NY. In the years he’s been a member of the CAA, he has garnered 26 awards including four Anne Marion/Best of Show Awards, four Gold Medals, six Silver Medals in Sculpture, two Ray Swanson Awards, and The Prix de West Purchase Award at their Annual Cowboy Artists of America Show. In addition, Moore has also received an Emmy Award from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the documentary "Paul Moore: Monument Man." From the National Sculpture Society in New York, NY, he has received the Gold and Silver Medals for sculpture in addition to numerous other awards. In 2013, he received the Oklahoma Governor Arts Award. His work is in the US Capital Collection, the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Brookgreen Gardens Collection, the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum and the Oklahoma State Capital Collection. Moore also recently completed his 20 year project, the Oklahoma Centennial Land Run Monument in Oklahoma City, one of the largest free-standing bronze sculptures in the world.
